(English version) The aim of the studio is to develop living typologies able to respond to the site and to the transformations that are taking place there. It is about possible spaces and their users. It is about how to deal with a condition that is at the same time a village and a city and how to maintain qualities of both. It is about how to deal with how people will live and work in a village that is a city, or a city that is a village, and which programs will be needed in their homespaces. It is about experimenting with new densities and at the same time reacting to the landscape and its textures.
• aufgabe
(English version) The studio will be organized in three phases, each 2 weeks long. We will meet on Monday and discuss the overall structure of the workshop and the details of the first phase. After the introduction we will go together to Oberlaa, to look at the sites. The languages of the studio are both English or German, according to the preferences of the students.
